Hannah Moerk Counseling
Hello! I'm Hannah, a Nationally Certified Counselor specializing in supporting the mental and emotional well-being of children, teenagers, and young adults. Acknowledging the distinct developmental requirements of each individual, I implement an integrative and adaptable method in therapeutic interventions to guide young people through these important stages of development.
I specialize in working with children, teenagers, and young adults utilizing a variety of evidence- based therapeutic methods tailored to their unique needs. Central to my approach for children is the integration of play interventions, which provide a developmentally appropriate avenue for young clients to explore and communicate their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Additionally, I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a specialized therapy technique that helps individuals process traumatic memories and improve overall mental health.
About
Within counseling, I recognize the profound link between the mind, body, and spirit. This process entails a joint venture where individuals delve into their thoughts, feelings, and past events in a secure and encouraging environment. By highlighting empathy and positive regard, I promote inclusivity and cultural sensitivity, valuing the diverse backgrounds and perspectives of each individual. My method focuses on fostering resilience, self-awareness, and growth, leading clients to uncover their capabilities and live genuinely.
